Consumer protection
On the basis of the amendment to Act No. 634/1992 Coll. on Consumer Protection, the obligation to inform about “the out-of-court consumer dispute resolution body that is materially competent for the type of product or service offered, sold, provided or mediated” was added. Such information should be communicated to the consumer in a clear, comprehensible and easily accessible manner and should also include the internet address of such body. The law explicitly states that if the trader operates a website, the information should also be provided on that website and if the trader refers to its terms and conditions when concluding a contract, the information should also be provided there.
We hereby provide you with all information pursuant to the provisions of Sections 1811 and 1820 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Civil Code”), prior to the conclusion of the accommodation contract.
Líšenský Dvůr s.r.o., as the accommodation provider, provides the following information to the guests:
- Identity and contact details of the accommodation provider: Brno, Mozolky 2569/54, Postal Code 61600, company registered in the Commercial Register at the Regional Court in Brno, Section C, File 58825, ID No.: 28288068, VAT No.: CZ28288068, e-mail address: hotel@lisensky-dvur.cz, telephone number: 702 047 079, 702 047 077;
- main business of the accommodation provider: provision of accommodation services; hospitality services
- designation of service: the accommodation provider provides accommodation and accommodation-related services for guests on the basis of the terms and conditions specified in a written accommodation contract, which may also be in the form of an electronic order;
- price of the service provided: the total price for the services provided is set out in the price list for the services. All taxes and charges shall be included in the price so fixed;
- method of payment and method of performance: the guest shall make all payments agreed in the accommodation contract in cash or non-cash to the bank account of the accommodation provider, the number and variable symbol of which shall be communicated in writing by the accommodation provider to the guests;
- the cost of the means of distance communication: the cost of the means of distance communication is determined by the providers of the means of distance communication services and does not differ from the basic rate;
- an indication of the existence, method and conditions of out-of-court redress for consumer complaints, including whether recourse to a supervisory authority is possible: the guest has the right to submit a proposal for out-of-court settlement of such a dispute to the designated consumer dispute resolution body, which is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.
- The Czech Trade Inspection Authority is a supervisory authority exercising supervision over consumer protection, acting in accordance with Act No 64/1986 Coll., on the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, as amended, and other legislation. The website of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority is www.coi.cz.
- Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1837(j) of Act No 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, the accommodated person as a consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the accommodation contract if the accommodation establishment provides the performance within the specified period.
